O How Wonderful Heaven Must Be!
Today at work all I could do was think of wonderful memories of her. When we were little she would take us to the mall for our birthday so we could buy what we wanted. She always said it was our day! I will never forget those birthdays. Then I thought about the good food she could make! Grandma was a GREAT cook and we will always miss her macaroni and cheese and banana pudding.
I was upset at work today because she will never be able to see my children, but a coworker of mine said yes she will.. She will be with the Creator of our children! That made me smile to know that both of my grandma's are going to be with Jesus! How wonderful that must be!
I never realized how real Heaven is or felt until we started talking about it to her and she started talking about to us. I now have the most faith I have ever had in God's love and eternal life!
Please continue to pray for us! One of the hardest things last night was to think that could have been the last time I see my Grandma on Earth. I am going to try to get up there later this week but I am not sure I am going to make it. Please pray for Kelly and I as try to work this week. It was so hard to be happy for my students. Also pray for my dad, aunt, mom, and Papa as they have many decisions to make in the future.

Another WONDERFUL Weekend
After Hudson's my parents decided to play Guitar Hero. It was so neat to see them play! They are actually pretty good! Here are some pictures of all us playing.
After playing my parents headed back home because we were worried about the snow and my dad had to be home for Sunday.
Patrick and my mom playing Guitar Hero!

My dad and I playing Guitar Hero. We were really in the game!

My parents concentrating hard on the game!
Here are the parents again! Notice Patrick acting goofy in the background.
Saturday Patrick and I DID NOTHING! It was great! We woke up and watched some tv and then played some video games. I made Vegetable soup for lunch and dinner. While we were eating lunch Lexy sat up in the chair at the table and just looked at us like Duh.. You need to feed me! Here is a picture of her in the chair.
After dinner Patrick and I went to a wedding of one of my coworkers. It was a pretty wedding but it was outside on a porch and IT WAS COLD!
Today we went to church and lunch and then came back to relax. We are watching the Green Bay game right now and I really hope they win! :)
I am excited about my day off tomorrow. I hope get alot of grad school work done and I hope to organize our study! :)

What I did on the "Snow Day"....
I woke up Thursday morning to rain! All we had was COLD RAIN! I really didn't mind going to work though because the students had a half day and I got to leave for lunch. I went home for lunch because Patrick had the day off so we got to eat lunch together. Then it was back to work til 6:30. I am helping with with Relay for Life at my school and we tried to get our team together. I really did enjoy my day at work.
After work, Patrick and I went out to eat with some people from the science department at work. We had so much fun! I am so blessed with great friends at work. I am really happy at my job!
My parents are coming down today to spend the night with us! I am so excited! I love it when we have company!
Even though we did not get snow I still enjoyed my "Snow Day"!

3. Go to Hawaii

2. Sat. we found a bedroom suite that we like!
3. We went to Steve and Barry's and everything in the store was 8.98. I got a pair of navy pants from the Sarah Jessica Parker line and a Duke t-shirt. It was a great find!

5. After dinner we went back to their house to watch Carolina lose at basketball :( but we had fun hanging out!
6. Sunday we enjoyed a great lunch with friends from church.
7. Relaxing and enjoying a great Sunday afternoon.

The not so good Date!
We got to Copper River and they said it would be a 45 minute wait, which was fine. It was actually about 50-60 minutes but that was ok. The hostess took us our table and that is when the trouble started. They sat us a nonsmoking table that was right above the smoking section. The only thing that separated us was the wall that was right beside us that was only half way up. THe tables below us starting smoking and their smoke was going on our food. I WAS NOT HAPPY!! I hate smoke from smoking and it makes me sick. I don't understand why resturants think that a little wall with holes in it are going to stop the smoke. Don't they know that smoke rises! After the episode with the smoke our waitress was TERRIBLE!! It took about 10 minutes for us to get our drinks and then even longer for food and EVEN longer for our dessert. By the time we ready to leave and had paid we had been in Copper River for 2 hours. We were so mad! We came home and did not watch the movie because we were so tired and I had a sinus headache.
Although our date night was not that great, I did enjoy spending time with Patrick and the food was good! Also we got to use our gift certificate so that was a plus!
On another note, Patrick played a SHOFAR, a Ram's horn, today at church for our communion service! I was so proud and he did a great job! :) He also cooked dinner for us tonight... PIZZA!! I have the best husband in the WORLD! :)

Hide and Seek with the Cat
Yesterday I spent all day cleaning our house, doing laundry, putting away Christmas presents, and putting away Christmas decorations. It took FOREVER! I am happy to say that our house is now deChristmased! Last night we had a couple from our Sunday School class come over to help celebrate the new year! We are so excited because they are expecting their first child this year! :) It was so hard for me to stay up! I did make it to like 12:15 and then I was gone!
Patrick has today off so we are going to go see the newest addition to our family, Miss Emma Elliott! After that we are going to RELAX!!! I can't believe Christmas vacation is almost over!
Happy New Year from the Graham family! :)
