MIA.....

Ok I know I have been MIA lately but we do have reasons why!!!

1. It is the end of the school year!

2. I am just finishing up two graduate courses and started two more!

3. We had the whole family down last weekend, so I had to clean clean clean!!

4. I was co-captain for Relay for Life at my school and that took up TONS of time!

5. Patrick has been working late, (he works 4 days a week, 10 hours or more everyday), so at night I like to spend time with him

6. ITS THE END OF THE SCHOOL! (NEED I SAY MORE)

I actually have missed blogging, I just haven't had the time to do anything! By the time I read everyone's I have to go do something else! Next week is the last week of the school year for me so I am hoping to get better during the summer! Please keep reading, if you haven't stopped!

Jackson Walker

I just got a call from my friend Jenna Walker (Bevill)'s mom in Texas to let me know that Jackson Walker was born this morning at 10:21 (our time) and weighed 8lbs. 13 oz. and was 21 inches long.

Everyone is doing fine!! :)

I will update more details after I talk to Jenna this afternoon, and hopefully get a picture emailed to me soon!

Man's Best Friend

Today Patrick and I took Duke to the park to run around and walk the walking trail. I took some pictures of Patrick with his best friend!This is my favorite picture!While we were sitting by the water this little girl walks by and says that dog looks just like Lucky. Patrick and I both smiled. (Patrick's first dog was named Lucky and was a black lab as well. Duke and Lucky look almost exactly alike.)

We had a great relaxing weekend!

Strawberries and Yesterday's

Yesterday I went to pick strawberries with some people from Sunday School. It was alot of fun to be able to make sure you have the strawberries you actually want! It was also pretty tiring after awhile! :) I ended up freezing most of the strawberries and eating the other half! THEY WERE THE BEST I have ever had! :)

Last night Patrick and I went to eat dinner with our friends Casey and David. They took us to a wonderful resturant in 5 points called Yesterday's! It was really good home cooking! We can't wait to go again. After dinner we went to play putt putt at Frankies. I have to say I think I am getting better at the game!

We had a great time with our friends! :)

Week Recap

This week we FINALLY got our bed! :) Thanks to our friend Jeremy who came over to our house at 8:30 Thursday morning to let the delivery people in, we got to come home to a wonderful new bed.

Tonight Patrick and I went to Target and I bought the one dollar flower pots because I want to see if they actually work. Well the first directions were to put the soil pellet in water and let it sit for 5 minutes. This is what it looked like! I couldn't resist, I had to take the picture.

Today I also won HALEY'S giveway! I am so excited! I was very happy to win! Thanks Haley.

Today Patrick and I also FINALLY got DVR!! After not too much begging I finally convinced Patrick we needed it! I have already set it up to tape all the Jon and Kate's, American Idol, and Dancing with the Stars. I can't wait to watch stuff without commericals!

Tomorrow I am suppose to go Strawberry picking with some friends from church. I am excited because I have never been and I love to eat Strawberries. Patrick and I are also going out with some friends my grad school, so we hope to have a great weekend!
