This week has been very busy! On Monday I went to Concord with my mom, sister, and the kids for a shopping trip! It was so much fun. The kids were great and I got alot of good stuff. GAP was having a great sale. Wednesday night I had class and I don't think this class is going to be all that bad. Our teacher is really nice and is helping us out alot by cutting down the papers and giving us take home quizzes. I think she realizes it is summer!
Thursday I had a really weird morning. I accidentally locked myself out of my house and I was freaking out! Patrick had taught me how to break in with a credit card, but I did have a credit card with me. I did have a paint brush on the front porch that was very thin so I tried that and I broke into my own house. Now I know why you must always lock the deadbolts on your doors.
After breaking in to my own house, I decided to go shopping! I was at Target and I saw the cutest thing. There were twin ladies that were probably in their 70's and they were dressed alike! It was so cute. If you don't know already I love old people. I think they are so cute! I had a great time shopping again!
Thursday night we had a couple from our Sunday School class over for dinner and then we played Wii. We played all night long. It was great to have good fellowship with people in Lexington.
Now I am at my sister's house again for this week. I have left Patrick alone again, although I don't think he really minds. He is really excited about sleeping late in the morning. Tomorrow my mom, aunt, and I are going to see Paula Deen in Charlotte. I am so excited. I love Paula Deen. I will hopefully post some pictures from that later this week.
Good news, Patrick's Grandad is coming home from the nursing home July 11th! He is so excited.

Busy Busy Busy
Patrick and I have been very busy the past couple of days and I just had a chance to get to the computer! We have been very blessed this weekend with wonderful old and new friends.
Friday Patrick's mom, grandmother, and aunts came to Columbia and I ate lunch with them and then they came to see the house! When Patrick got off work we went out to eat with our Sunday School class. It was so much fun! We are very blessed to be apart of such a wonderful Sunday School class. I thank God everyday for allowing us to go to LUMC. It has definitely been nice to finally find a home church at our home! After dinner they all came back to our house to hang out and play Wii. I know this sounds cheesy but it was nice to have people at OUR HOUSE! This was our first get together in our new house and I loved it.
Sat. we took the dog to vet and then our friends Brandon and Summer from Spartanburg were at Dreher Island camping, so they came to visit and we went to the lake. It was so relaxing to ride the boat and look at all the nice houses. After the lake ride they came back to eat and play Wii. They have the cutest two year old named Brynn and our expecting another baby in August. Brynn loves our cat, Lexy! She was so cute and just adored Patrick to death. She also loved the camera. I would get it out and she would say Cheese and make funny poses, then run over to look at the picture. We all discussed how children these days don't understand that they are lucky to be able to see the picture right after it is taken. We use to have to wait forever!
Sunday we got up to go to church and it was such a good service. Our youth minister, which is in our Sunday School class, preached at the contemporary service. Some of the youth just got back from Brazil so they talked about their trip! It sounded like so much fun and they had a great time. The sermon was about being a missionary for God. He talked about how it is our job for God and we can never retire from this job. We can either have a job where we go in the mission field, or have a job where we support the mission field with our prayers and financial gifts. He talked about going in the mission field did not just mean going out into different countries or going on mission trips, but ministering to everyone all the time, or volunteering at different places. We then sang Sanctuary and instead of saying Sanctuary we said Missionary. It was a great service. After church we all went to out to eat and it was great to fellowship with everyone!
This afternoon I started the school work. When I got home Wednesday from class I was so worried about being able to get all the studying done, but it really was not that hard. I am kinda a dork I guess because I really did not mind reading the material. I found it kinda interesting! I just hope I get through all the work!
This weekend was great! We finally feel like Lexington is HOME and we are very blessed with new friends! This weekend was the first weekend that I did not miss Spartanburg in a long time! (But then again I am going to see everyone tomorrow so that might have helped) I want to thank everyone who has been praying for us since we moved down here to help make this our new home! We finally are fitting in and enjoying our time in Lexington. Also thanks to our wonderful Sunday School class. We feel like we have known everyone for a long time!
I have posted some pictures from my birthday dinner and Sat. night!
Have a great day!

My birthday
Yesterday was my 23rd birthday. My parents had already decided to come down for the day, but when they got here I looked out the window and Kelly and Eli were here as well! I was so happy! We had a great day shopping and of course playing Wii and eating! Eli was so cute the whole time. While we were shopping all he wanted to do was look at the people and then when we left he was knocked out!
I have a great family and I am so thankful that they came down. Even though I moved away I still get to see them very often. I got the best birthday present ever and that was spending time with my family!
Today or really tonight I start graduate school. I can't believe I actually decided to go back to school, but the money is worth it! I will be going once a week at night so pray that I can stay awake. The good news is that I will be done in 15 months!

Father's Day/Birthday Weekend!
I am going to go ahead and warn you, this is going to be a very random post.
Friday night we went to Spartanburg and Patrick decided to go ahead and get my birthday present for me alittle early, well I guess 5 days early, but oh well! We got a NINTENDO WII!!!! I was so happy! I love that thing. Today when I got up I had to tell myself that I could not play until I cleaned the house and went to run errands! I could play all day! We took it back to my parents after buying it and we all played til about 10:00 and then Patrick and I played until 12:00! It was great.
Saturday Patrick and I went with my parents, sister, brother-in-law and the kids to the mountains to celebrate Father's Day and my birthday. It was so much fun. We had a great picnic even though mom forgot the plates. After eating Caroline went and got in the water. When we first got to the water there was a snake and she was fearless. She touched the snake like it was a dog. She also really enjoyed the water. It never bothered her that it was 20 below zero. She made sure everyone got in the water with her though to get their picture made with her. I was only in for like 5 minutes. It was so cold! Eli was so good as well, he just slept and looked at the trees. Patrick and I really enjoy holding Eli because he is so peaceful. He makes all your worries go away! After playing in the water we went for a little walk, then ice cream and we were back home.
Kelly took these pictures of Patrick and I by the water! They turned out really good! I will post more pictures from the mountains later!
When we got home Patrick and I went over to his parents to spend the night. We let his family try out the Wii. My sister-in-law LOVES it! She could not put it down. After playing for awhile the Graham siblings went swimming. They have learned that I am not much of a swimmer. I had to hold Duke because he gets real scared of the water. We then played Wii to about 1:00 and went to bed! (Well my brother-in-law and sister-in-law played until around 3ish)
Sunday we went to church with Patrick's parents and then went to Grandad and Ma's for lunch. Grandad got to come home for the day to eat with us! He was so happy because he got to sit in his chair. He is doing much better! After lunch we opened presents and the "new" fathers got presents! I am so excited about having new babies in the family. The family also spoiled me with birthday presents. Thank you so much for the presents. I realized Sunday that I have been blessed with a great in-law family! I love spending time with them and I feel like I have been in the family for A LONG TIME!
After lunch we went to Saskatoon with my parents. That is our favorite resturatnt and it was very good this time! Patrick got shark and I got buffalo and it was so good! Of course we had to finish with chocolate cake!
We had a great Father's Day and birthday weekend. I realized I am very blessed to have such a wonderful family.
If you have read my sister's blog you have read about our dad and she was so true. Our dad is always there for us, even when we don't want to hear what he has to say because we know we were wrong and he is right. He has helped make us in to wonderful adults and taught us how to love everyone. I am a true Daddy's girl and I will never forget my wedding day. I was so honored to have him walk me down the aisle and perform our ceremony. He made my wedding a true worship service that I will never forget. I know that if I never him to come down here all I have to do is call and he will be on his way. Thank you dad for all you have done for Kelly and I! We love you! Never forget that Life is GOOD!
I also have a wonderful Father-in-law, John. John is always there to do something for us if we ever need him. He has shown how to put others before myself. John and I especially like to pick on each other, but in a good way. He is always fun to joke around with! I will never forget with Patrick and I told his parents that we were serious and were probably going to get married. He came up to me before we were even engaged and told me welcome to the family and that he was happy for us. I was very happy to know that he thinks of me as one of his own. Thank you John! We love you!
On another note, my sister-in-law Sally and helped me change my design for blog. She said my old design was boring and dull. I hope you like the new colors!
Also I have decided to start working on our wedding scrapbook. Today I put up a table in the study and layed out all the stuff for the scrapbook! Pray that I get it done.

Daily Routine
I need your help! I have decided this week that I have started this daily routine and I think I am going to go crazy by the end of the summer. Now don't get me wrong I do enjoy having the summer off, but it does get lonely sometimes being at home by yourself in a town where you don't really know that many people!
This is my routine (for people who have children warning this could make you mad, sorry Kelly)
I get up at 6:30 to let the dog out and then go back to sleep until 10:00. I get up and watch Regis and Kelly for 30 minutes while eating breakfast and then get on the computer until 11:00. I watch the View, which that is another posting coming later. After the View I usually take a shower and decide which places I want to go for that day. For example, Kohl's, grocery store, library. I go and then come home and eat lunch. After lunch I watch As the World Ends at 2:00, General Hospital at 3:00, Oprah at 4:00 and then news at 5:00. By 5:00 I know about what time Patrick will be home and I start dinner then I spend time with him until we go to bed at 10-11, and then get up and do it all again.
I know it might sound nice at first, but after doing this for two weeks I have decided I need to change. The problem is I don't know what to do! I like to shop but of course I can't everyday because we don't have the money! So here is where you come in, if anyone has any ideas of creative and fun things to do by yourself let me know!
Thanks!

Family Fun
Monday and Tuesday my parents came down to help us paint (or we really helped them)! They painted my living room and took down wallpaper and painted the kitchen. We started at 3:30 Monday afternoon and finished around 4:00 Tuesday afternoon. The wallpaper would not come off! I really hate wallpaper now! The rooms look great and it feels more like home to us! Thank you so much Mom and Dad! We love you!
Tuesday Kelly surprised us and drove down here with the children. I am so proud of her making that trip with two small children. I know it was hard! Caroline had so much fun playing at our house. She really enjoyed seeing Patrick. Eli was so just so happy and he loves to smile! After we finished the rooms we went to Shealy's for dinner. It was so good of course, but Caroline and Eli were the cutest. Caroline was eating grits with a straw and she also had an ice cream cone. Eli was sucking on mom's arm and it was so cute! After Shealys it was time for Caroline's bath and then off they went.
I had a such a great time yesterday with everyone being down here. I am really blessed with such a great and close family. We really do like to spend time together! Thank you Mom and Dad again for painting and thank you so much Kelly for driving down here with Caroline and Eli! Ya'll are welcomed anytime!
Also my sister has started a blog so you can go to her blog to see pictures of yesterday! I will post some of the rooms later! :)
Here is her website http://kellys-krazy-kids.blogspot.com/ or you can click on her link to the right under links!

Pigeon Forge
This weekend Patrick and I went to Pigeon Forge for our anniversary (Thanks Alice and John for letting us use your points!) We had so much fun. It was great to get away from everything and be by ourselves.
Patrick took Friday off so we got to leave on Friday morning. We got up there and went to the bass pro shop! It was so big, there was even a beef jerky outlet right beside it. (They sure know how to get men to come to their store.) After that we checked in and decided to go look around. We went shopping and ate at Calhoun's and then shopped some more. I was very upset that I didn't find that much to buy.
Sat. we sat around until around 11:30 and then went to the Rainforest Zoo. It was really neat to see all the animals. Patrick and I love to look at animals. After the zoo we went to a cat and dog store because we missed our "children" (Thanks to the grandparents for keeping them).
We then decided to go lay out by the pool! It was so relaxing and for those of you that know me you will be surprise to know that I went swimming! We both read and swam for awhile!
For dinner that night we went to the Apple Barn! It was so good. After the Apple Barn we went to a magic show. It was amazing! The magician was wonderful and the show had a great point to it. He talked about how you need to follow your dreams and never give up! He was very inspirational! I would advise anyone going to to Pigeon Forge to go to the magic show!
Sunday we came back to Spartanburg and spent time with my parents, Caroline, Eli, and my sister. I cooked dinner for everyone and then we got to eat our cake! It was actually really good!
We had a great weekend and I am very lucky to have such a wonderful husband! I have included pictures from this weekend!
Also today is Matt and Crystal's anniversary, so HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
Well I must go get ready for my parents to come down to paint!

Anniversary Present
I know it is early but Patrick surprised me tonight with my anniversary present. First I got an Willowtree Angel that is holding a cat, then he surprised me with REAL PEARL earrings! I was so happy and shocked. I felt bad though because I had not bought him anything yet, but all he wants is playstation games, so that is what he got and then maybe a little surprise from a Carolina store tomorrow. I was so happy! I have the best husband in the world! :)
First Week of Summer
Well my first week of summer is half way done. I am been so lazy! Every morning I get up at 6:00 to let the dog out and go back to sleep until 9:30 or 10:00 (sorry Kelly I know that makes you mad). We just recently had a couple in our Sunday school have a little boy, so Monday I went with some people to take them some food! The baby was so cute and they are doing well. Then I watched soap opera and cleaned the house. Yesterday I went to run errands and then LAYED around, and today I didn't get up until 10:00 and I have started the long process of removing wallpaper in our kitchen. It is kinda boring because you have to wait and wait and wait! It isn't that hard though, most of the paper is coming off without any chemicals! :) Next week my parents are coming down to help me paint our house! I can't wait :) Tomorrow I am going to pack for the weekend. Patrick and I are going to the mountains for our one year anniversary. I still can't believe it has been a year! This year has flown by. We are going to Pigeon Forge to relax and shop. I can't wait. If anyone has any ideas on what I can get him for a gift PLEASE let me know!
Well I don't think I am going to continue to count down for the summer because it makes it go way to fast. I definitely enjoyed being lazy this week and I know I need to be more productive in the weeks to come. I have a list of things to do this summer and I haven't even thought about any of them! I really need to get on to the wedding scrapbook that was suppose to be completed last year. Well I have rambled enough, I need to go check on my wallpaper! Have a great rest of the week and weekend. I will add pictures from this weekend on Monday!

Our Weekend
We had a very busy weekend, but it was alot of fun! Patrick took Friday off and we headed home early to go eat lunch with Kelly, Caroline and Eli. After lunch we went back to Kelly's house and they had just bought a Wii Nintendo system. We played for hours! It was so much fun but I got very sore from playing! That night we went to Lindsay and Taylor's rehearsal dinner and had a wonderful time. After the dinner Taylor, Tyler, Jessica, Graham, and Justin came back to Patrick's parents house to swim. It was fun to hang out with old friends.
Sat. morning I woke up and went to Kelly's to watch Caroline while she slept in alittle while and then she did my make up for Lindsay's wedding. I then went to get my hair done and then headed to the church for the wedding. The wedding was so beautiful! Lindsay was gorgeous and everything was perfect! I was so happy for them. Their reception was at the Country Club and we danced all night! It was so much fun.
After the wedding we went back to my parents house to hear all about their cruise. They had so much fun and I am glad that they were able to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary on a cruise.
Sunday our aunt and uncle Pam and Bob had a party to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary which is June 10th (the same day as ours). It was great to see that side of the family again and especially Granddad and Ma!
After the party we went to Kelly and Andy's and played the Wii again and watched Caroline and Eli. We then headed home!
It was such a great weekend with friends and family! We are so blessed with wonderful families and friends! I have posted pictures from this weekend's events.
Today is my parents 30th wedding anniversary. I would like to say that I love you guys and thanks for being a great example for Patrick and I! I hope the next 30 years are as wonderful as the first 30 for you both! I hope you had a great day! WE LOVE YOU! :)
I hope everyone has a great day! :)
