Patrick took Friday off so we got to leave on Friday morning. We got up there and went to the bass pro shop! It was so big, there was even a beef jerky outlet right beside it. (They sure know how to get men to come to their store.) After that we checked in and decided to go look around. We went shopping and ate at Calhoun's and then shopped some more. I was very upset that I didn't find that much to buy.
Sat. we sat around until around 11:30 and then went to the Rainforest Zoo. It was really neat to see all the animals. Patrick and I love to look at animals. After the zoo we went to a cat and dog store because we missed our "children" (Thanks to the grandparents for keeping them).
We then decided to go lay out by the pool! It was so relaxing and for those of you that know me you will be surprise to know that I went swimming! We both read and swam for awhile!
For dinner that night we went to the Apple Barn! It was so good. After the Apple Barn we went to a magic show. It was amazing! The magician was wonderful and the show had a great point to it. He talked about how you need to follow your dreams and never give up! He was very inspirational! I would advise anyone going to to Pigeon Forge to go to the magic show!
Sunday we came back to Spartanburg and spent time with my parents, Caroline, Eli, and my sister. I cooked dinner for everyone and then we got to eat our cake! It was actually really good!
We had a great weekend and I am very lucky to have such a wonderful husband! I have included pictures from this weekend!
Also today is Matt and Crystal's anniversary, so HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
Well I must go get ready for my parents to come down to paint!
