During my spring break, my mom and I travelled to Hickory N.C. to look at furniture. I found a bedroom suite that I LOVED!! :) When I bought it they said it could take 3-4 weeks to come in, so I figured we had plenty of time to buy a mattress and new comforter. (We were finally upgraded to a Queen size bed.)
Last Friday I got a phone call from the delivery company asking if they could deliver on Monday from 10-12, which worked out GREAT because I that is when I have planning.
So last weekend we had to buy a mattress, buy a comforter, move all of the old furniture out of the room, clean the room, get Patrick's parents to come pick up the old furniture and get ready for the new furniture.
Monday morning I went home to wait on the delivery and when they came the guy said that they had everything BUT the bed. I was alittle upset.. I mean who brings a whole bedroom suite without the bed. Well Patrick was very mad and called the company and they said the owner made the mistake and our bed would not be in for 2 weeks. :(
Later that day our mattresses were delivered and we fixed the sheets and everything, so last night we slept on the mattresses on the floor! I didn't think I would be able to sleep but MAN A QUEEN SIZE BED MAKES A DIFFERENCE!! I can finally move and not fall off the bed or hit Patrick! :) Even though we were on the floor I loved the mattress! Now we just hope the bed will be in soon!!! :)
On another note.. Patrick won the brackets for March Madness for our family! He was very excited!
Also I am very excited about this weekend because my family is coming down and we are going to go to the zoo!! I can't wait to see everyone!

Haha, its so funny to hear you all excited about a queen size bed. I wish Hal could be that way. I had a queen when we got married so thats what we sleep on now, and he hates it. He wants a king bed so bad he can't stand it! It could be that I only paid $100 for the mattress and box springs together! Ha! Anyways, I hope your bed comes in soon, and you will have to post pictures when you get it!

I hate that about your bed. I would be upset too. My husband and I have a king size bed and it is to nice. So I know your excited about a bigger bed. Well enjoy sleeping on the floor for just a little while. have a good week.
Oh yes, the bigger the bed, the better (for me anyways). Glad your matress is sleeping so good! It'll be even better with your new bed coming in! jon and I have a king and we love it, although we don't really need all the room anymore because we bought it when I was about 8 months pregnant, talk about needing more room! haha
