The Exhaustion has started.....

Yesterday was my first day back to work and I can honestly say I have never been that tired in my life!!!

I got home around 5:00 and thought I was going to die! I ended up getting in the bed at 8:30 but didn't fall asleep until 9:45.

At work my department had to move many boxes and I felt so bad because I was not allowed to help and I had to get people to help me do EVERYTHING. Since I am in a new room I had many things that needed to be moved, so I had to ask people all day long.

Usually I am a very independent person and it is hard for me to ask people for help because I feel bad, but I guess I don't have a choice anymore. I just hope they don't mind helping me!

Today when I got home around 4:00 I took a long nap and now I am back in the bed at 8:15 watching the Olympics. I really don't know how I am going to handle next week, so if you please say a prayer that I will have the energy to teach that would be great!

This weekend we have NOTHING planned so I am hoping to finish my PowerPoint's for my Masters program. I present my thesis in two weeks and need to make sure everything is together! We also hope to sleep! :)
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hang in there! You'll get in a groove, and in a couple of weeks your energy level will be back up!

Ah, I remember it well! Your post took me right back to my time teaching during the first trimester with Katie Jo. You realize very quickly that your health is more important than standing on your feet all day. I'm sure you will continue to do a great job but don't hesitate to ask for help. And don't worry this will pass and then you'll have the energy of an Olympic athlete!

Once you hit your second trimester your energy level will be through the roof again (well, until your last trimester...hehe)! Don't worry, you don't have too much longer! Good luck in the mean time!
