I guess you might be wondering if I fell off the side of the Earth, well I did feel like it this week!
Last weekend Patrick and I had a great relaxing weekend! On Sunday the youth at our church put together a whole worship service for that night. It was SO AMAZING!! They did a great job. Patrick and I also signed up to host a small group once a month at our house, so we are really excited about this year!
Monday I woke up and felt so bad! I had a huge sinus infection, but I only had the sore throat, tired part of it! Patrick told me to stay home, but I couldn't get out of work the 4th day of school, so I went and actually made it through the day. When I got home I went to straight to bed. Our friends Cass and Jeremy came over and made us supper. Cass also got me some medicine and made me hot tea! Monday night I realized how blessed we are to have made BEST friends in Lexington. Cass and Jeremy will do anything for us, and we will do anything for them! God really has blessed us with a great friendship!
Tonight Patrick and I are going to talk to our minister about joining our church. We are really excited because we love the church we go to! We love our Sunday School class and also LOVE THE youth! :) It is really neat at school to see some of them and talk to them! It is kinda bittersweet joining another church. This really means that Lexington is permanent to us. I am excited, but I am really saying goodbye to Spartanburg, at least for alittle while. Please pray for us as we make this decision to join this church.
I am very excited about this weekend! We are heading to Spartanburg on a mini vacation to see our family and ADDISON! :) I have missed Caroline and Eli so much and can't wait to see them in person. We also get to meet Miss Addison Laney! I can't wait!
I hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend!
