We are so blessed

After a very long week, Patrick and I had a great weekend. Friday night we went out with Adam and Heather for dinner and then came back and hung out at the house. It was a great night of fellowship. Saturday we woke up around 10:00 and just hung around until 1:00 when we decided we needed to be productive. It was so pretty outside so Patrick washed both of our cars while I cleaned up the house. I then decided to take Duke for a walk but quickly realized that he took me for a walk. Saturday night my friends from my graduate class, Erica and Casey and their husbands came over to grill out and play games. It was so nice to have my friends over. After they left I was thinking about blessed we are to have such great friends in Lexington. Erica and Casey are my lifesavers for my class. They are the ones that keep me sane with all the work we have to do to graduate! Today we went to church and then out to eat with our Sunday School class and again I thought about how blessed we are to have such great friends in Lexington.I thank God for such wonderful small blessings in our life. We truly are blessed with wonderful friends!.

And they are blessed to have friends like you. Friends are so important when you live away from home because they become your "family". I will always be grateful for the wonderful friends I had when I lived in Sumter. I couldn't have made it without them!

I am so proud of you guys for making friends in Lexington and creating your own life there. I know that it was hard at first, but you have been very brave and it sounds like you really have a great group of friends. Way to go!

PS: I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your grandmother. You have wonderful memories, and those will never cease to exist in your heart and mind. You should be receiving a card from us soon. Sorry for the delay...Being a working mom is tough!!!
Love ya
