Cleaning advice!

This week at work is exam week and the last week of the semester so I only have students 3 days and then Friday I have a half day, and then have Monday off!!

Since I have a long break, Patrick and I have decided to deep clean our house on Sat. This is where we need some advice!

We are going to clean all the baseboards, windows, walls, floors, etc! Does anyone have any tips that make this easier or wonderful cleaning supplies that they use that we should try? We are up for any ideas! :)

*Please don't think our house is nasty, but I want it to be extra clean for Mary Alice and this is one of the last weekends we have to do this!*

Ah, you know it's nasty! Just kidding! :-)
I'll email you what I use.

I love cleaning with vinegar and it's especially great with wood. I have two sites I reference when I need a cleaning tip. www.vinegartips.com and www.versatilevinegar.org

Vinegar is by far the cheapest cleaner. Orange Pledge smells the best. Magic Eraser will take anything off. Have a good time cleaning!

Girl, you are so nesting... Thats so funny because I have been doing the same thing. Organizing deep cleaning everything... I cleaned my bassboards and doors with hot water and pinesole. (not sure how to spell it). My baseboards were terrible we have lived here for over 2 years and never had done it so hopefully yours wont be as dirty as mine =)

I do my baseboards every summer with water and Mr. Clean. They always shine nicely afterwards :)

Be careful with Magic Erasers though...they will take anything off, but we've discovered they will also take off the finish of some things!
