Obviously we are not travelling to see family for Easter, so our family is coming to us! Since my dad is a preacher, my brother in law is a youth minister, and my sister is in charge of the praise band at her church my family came down yesterday. We started the day off by going to the zoo to celebrate my mom's birthday (which is next week). It was so much fun and Caroline and Eli enjoyed the animals! The only problem was that is was VERY crowded!
When we got back to our house we had a great lunch and then my cousins, Melody and Zach came to visit and see Mary Alice for the first time! They drove all the way from Tenn. just to see our little girl! Thank you so much Melody and Zach!
Nana and Granddad then gave out the Easter presents to the kids! Caroline and Eli loved theirs and we loved Mary Alice's! She got many things that will help her mommy and daddy like formula and wipes! :) Thank you Granddad and Nana! Mary Alice loves you!
After opening presents we all just hung out! Caroline and Eli played, the adults mostly tried to sleep, and of course Mary Alice slept!
Everyone left except for Nana! She was going to spend the night with us again (she stayed Thursday night as well) to help with our night duty! She also kept Mary Alice for us so we could go on a date! Patrick and I dressed up and went to eat at California Dreaming and then Barnes and Noble. It was great to get out and spend time with each other, but we both missed Mary Alice. We were only gone for like 3 hours! I of course called after dinner to check on her and of course she was fine!
Today Nana made us a great Easter lunch since we won't be home to eat with everyone! It was so nice to have her stay with us this weekend and help with things! I have found out that it is hard to be away from family even though we love where we live! It is nice that we are only 1 hour and half and they are willing to come down whenever we need them! My mom has definitely been a great help the last couple of weeks! I don't think I would have survived without her! She has come down whenever I needed her and has been our personal chef, maid, and babysitter! Thank you Mom for all you have done! We hope you get to come back soon! :)

Aren't moms the best!?!? They are life savers especially when you are sleep deprived. They are the only ones you don't feel bad about putting all your burdens on!
And I am sure Cindy is like I am....we love doing it for our sweet girls.
