I pray she starts sleeping a little better for you! Kelsey and Kaley went through a colic stage. The few things I found that helped was holding them on my chest kind of firm. I would lay back in the recliner and they would sleep like that. I know they say it spoils them, but sometimes Mommy's have to do what has to be done to rest. Another thing, try laying her on her back in your lap, push her knees up to her chest and rub her belly. A nurse actually showed me that. And as hard as it is, sometimes it's best to call someone else to come help. Babies since their mommy's frustration and tenseness in not being able to help them and that makes them more upset. I found sometimes, if I could pass the girls off to someone else it would help b/c they wouldn't be as tense. When they got a few months old, the Baby Einstein videos would always seems to calm them. I would put them in the swing in front of the TV and most of the time it really calmed them down.
Just remember that song, "It won't be like this for long" You and your beautiful family are in my thoughts and prayers!! Things will get better.
Dear MAGpie, You need to sleep, ok? Your Mommy and Daddy need to sleep too. Everyone will feel better if you do. I promise you won't miss anything! Hopefully I'll be down there on Friday to take you off your Mommy's hands! Love you sweet girl, Aunt Kelly
