Two Months Old

Our little girl turned two months old last Sat. She had her two month appointment on Friday and did very well! I did not stay in the room during the shots but Patrick said she did well!

Here are some things Mary Alice is doing at two months old:

• She weighs 9 lbs 1.5 ounces and is in the 11 percentile.
• She is 22 inches long and is in the 32 percentile.
• She LOVES her swing
• She has begun to look around the room and loves to look at the pictures in our living room
• She SMILES!!
• She laughs in her sleep.
• She will sleep from 9:00 to either 2:00 or 3:00.
• She eats really fast at night and will go back to sleep on her own.
• She wakes up at either 5 or 6 to eat again and will go back to sleep til 8:00.
• She can wear pretty outfits beside onesies!
• She can wear level one diapers!
• She took her first big trip to see Grandparents!
• She loves to look at herself in the mirror above her swing.
• She talks!
• She has started to try and grasp objects.
• She can pull up if you help and hold her head up for a good 30 seconds!
• She is usually very happy and alert after her 8:30 feeding!
• She takes Zantac twice a day.
• She can go sometimes 4 hours between feedings
• She likes to watch her mobile
• She is starting to like baths and getting her diaper change!
• Her morning nap is usually from 10-12 and then she will take a nap again from 2-5ish in her swing.
• She loves to hear the Itsy Bitsy Spider and watch your hand motions.
• She also loves to pat a cake.
• She is usually fussy in the late afternoon.
• She still MELTS her mommy and daddy's heart everyday! :)
