School "friends" and HEAT

Yesterday I decided to head to school and try to unpack my stuff. When I got there I saw that my team members for next year were there as well! I walked in to introduce myself and they were so welcoming!! They talked to me like they had known me forever and I hope we can become friends. Last year at my old school I didn't really fit in with any of the teachers. I am praying that at this school I can fit in with some people and make friends! I left yesterday excited about the year and what God has in store for me at my new school! I am so glad I have good team members.

For those of you who don't know, my husband works outside ALL DAY long EVERYDAY! Last night at 11:00 the heat index at our house was 100 degrees, so just imagine what it is during the day. Please pray for Patrick this week that he will have the strength to work and not get sick. They get to drink plenty of water and he keeps telling me that he is fine, but I can tell he is SO tired when he gets home and is not his perky self this week. Please pray for everyone who has to work outside. It is terrible this week.

Have a great day! :)

I am so proud of the way you take the first step in making friends. You go, girl! They will understand very quickly what what makes you special! I am so happy you are excited about your new school. Change is good!

I took Ma and Grandad to the dr today and we were watching TV in the waiting room and they showed the temp in Cola at 103. We all talked about how we worried about him out in the heat. We are all praying for him.

It was great to see you both this weekend. Talk to you soon!
Love you, mean it!
